Compliance Training Rollout
Imagine a large multinational corporation with offices in multiple countries. They need to ensure that all employees across different regions receive mandatory compliance training to adhere to legal and industry standards. Here's how bulk enrolling users into courses can be beneficial in this scenario:
- Global Reach: This corporation operates in diverse regions with varying regulatory requirements. To maintain compliance, they offer a range of compliance training courses tailored to specific regions. Bulk enrollment enables HR and training administrators to efficiently enroll all employees in the relevant courses based on their locations.
- Consistency: Compliance is critical, and ensuring that every employee completes the required training is paramount. Bulk enrollment guarantees that all eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the correct courses, minimizing the risk of overlooking any participants. This consistency helps the company avoid legal penalties and reputational damage.
In summary, bulk enrolling users into courses in an Advanced Learning Management System is highly beneficial, especially in scenarios like compliance training for a large and diverse workforce. It ensures consistency, efficiency, scalability, and accurate tracking while reducing administrative overhead, ultimately contributing to a well-organized and compliant internal staff training program.
You can use the template attached to the bottom of this page. Simply add the usernames and course short names to the template.
For example:
Note: The course short names need to be exact matches of those recorder on your LMS. In the relevant course, this can be found in "Course admin" > "Edit settings."
If you would like to upload users to more than one course, you can simply add columns for course 2, course3, etc.
Step 1: Click on "Site admin", followed by "User management", then "Bulk upload users."
Step 2: Upload your populated CSV file and then click on "Bulk upload users via CSV."
Step 3: Review user information.
To ensure that you do not create new users by mistake, select "Update existing users only" as shown below.
Once you're happy, you can click on "Bulk upload users via CSV" to complete the upload and see your upload results.
Before performing this bulk action, we encourage creating a test course with test users and performing a test bulk upload in case you make a mistake.
