Dropbox Setup

STEP 1: GET API KEY AND SECRET FROM DROPBOX


Step 1.1: To get a Dropbox API Key and Secret, click go to "Dropbox developers".

Step 1.2: Sign in or create an account on Dropbox. 

Step 1.3: Click on the 'Create app' button.

Step 1.4: Choose Dropbox API', 'Full dropbox and name your app according to the branding rules:

Step 1.5: Click the blue 'Create app' button

Step 1.6: On the next screen you will see an App key and an App secret. Copy these. 

Step 1.7: Add the following redirect URI to Dropbox: 

https://yourlmsdomain.com/admin/oauth2callback.php

STEP 2: ENTER YOUR CREDENTIALS


Step 2.1: Click on "Site admin" > "Integrations" > "Connect cloud repositories" then "Dropbox":








Step 2.2: Add your credentials here:



STEP 3: ADD FILES FROM DROPBOX


If this was setup successfully, the next time you are prompted to add a file to your LMS, you will see a Dropbox icon:



From here, you can log into your account.
