Embed Video Code

OVERVIEW

Video creates high engagement with students and is a powerful tool to use in your Pluto LMS courses. Depending on the 3rd party video tool, videos can be embedded into Pluto LMS pages. 

Use Case Example:

As a training manager, you can leverage the power of video to deliver instructional content. Whether it's sharing best practices, showcasing new processes, or providing in-depth explanations, videos integrated through this tool can deliver high-quality and engaging content that effectively educates and empowers employees, resulting in improved knowledge retention and enhanced skill development.

For example: Adding tutorials, demonstrations, or presentations from 3rd party video tools can create an interactive and visually compelling training environment.

Ensure that you review the privacy settings of the hosting platform to control the video's accessibility.

RETRIEVE THE EMBED CODE

Many 3rd party video tools allow you to share your videos via an embed code, for example:
  1. Loom
  2. Google Drive

EMBED VIDEO CODE


Step 1: In the relevant course, click on "Edit course material."



Step 2: Under the relevant module, click on "Add course content." 



Step 3: Click on the "Page" resource.



Step 4: Give your video page (1) a name and (2) embed the video code from the 3rd party using the HTML code editor as shown below.



Once you're done, click on the HTML code editor again, scroll down, and click on "Save and display." 



Your video will now be embedded into your LMS page, similarly to screenshot below.
