OVERVIEW
If you upload a PowerPoint directly to a course via the file upload feature, it will not embed, but rather force the student to download it to their local machine. To avoid this, you can embed your PowerPoints or Google Slides into Pluto LMS pages.
Be sure not to set your share mode/settings to PRIVATE otherwise other users cannot view your content. This is a common error with Microsoft users only sharing files with their own organization instead of publicly.
Which ever tool you are using, please consult their support guides on how to get an HTML embed code for your presentation (sample guides below):
EMBED SLIDES/POWER POINTS
Step 1: Get embedded code.
Open Google Slides presentation and follow below,
(1) Click on 'File',
(2) Hover over 'Share' and it will expand more options,
(3) Click on 'Publish to web',
Click on (1) 'Embed' tab and (2) 'Publish' to view the code,
Once the code is shown (as below), Copy the code and go back to course.
Step 2: Create a page.
Step 2.1: In the relevant course, click on "Edit course material."
Step 2.2: Under the relevant module, click on "Add course content."
Step 2.3: Click on the "Page" activity.
Step 2.4: Give your page (1) a name and (2) embed the HTML code using the editor as shown below.
Click on the HTML symbol </> once again to embed code and view.
Once you're done, scroll down and click on "Save and display."
The slides will them embed as shown below.
