Failed Login Email Notifications

OVERVIEW

Enabling this feature will help you monitor the number of failed logins by students, managers or guests. This will help improve the security of your site to ensure you're notified of unusual login activity or if a user needs help.

Use Case Example:

As a training manager, by enabling this feature, you can receive notifications when there are failed login attempts by students, managers, or guests. This allows you to stay informed about any unusual login activity and promptly take action to address potential security concerns or assist users who may be experiencing login difficulties.

This proactive approach to security helps to safeguard sensitive training data and identify potential security breaches promptly.

ENABLE LOGIN FAILURE NOTIFICATIONS

Step 1: Click on "Site admin", followed by "User Management", then "User preferences" and finally "Login failure."







Step 2: Enable (1) "Display login failures",  (2) select who should receive these emails and (3) set your threshold for failed login notifications. 


Once you're happy, click on "Save changes."
