Overview
A Bar Chart compares metrics from different categories using bars. Bar lengths are used to indicate the magnitude of each value and colour is used to differentiate groups.
Creating a Bar Chart
Step 1: Select the "Charts" tab in the top bar,
Step 2: Create a New Chart,
> On the Charts page,
> Click on the "+ Chart" button to initiate the creation of a new chart.
Step 3: Select a Dataset,
> In the "Dataset" section,
> Click on the dropdown menu and select the dataset you want to use for your bar chart.
Step 4: Select "Bar Chart" as the Chart Type.
Step 5: Click on "Create New Chart".
Step 6: Specify Your Metrics,
> In the "Metrics" section, click on the "Save" button.
> From the dropdown menu, select the metric you want to display in your bar chart.
Step 7: Define Your Series,
> From the dropdown menu, select the column(s) that will act as your series.
Step 8: Run Query,
> Click on the "Run Query" button to generate your bar chart based on the parameters you've defined.
Step 9: Customize Your Chart,
> Use the customization options provided by Pluto Insights to adjust the appearance of your chart.
> You can change the colour scheme, add a legend, set a title, and more.
Step 10: Save Your Chart,
> To save your chart, click on the "Save" button.
> Provide a name for your chart and, if desired, a description.
> Click "Save" again.
Your chart will now be accessible under the "Charts" section for future reference.
