OVERVIEW

You can manually enroll existing users into your courses via the enrollment methods page or the enrolled users page.
Manually enrolling learners into courses in a Learning Management System (LMS) used for internal staff training can be beneficial in various situations where personalized or selective enrollment is required. Here's a use case example illustrating the advantages of manual enrollment:

Imagine a company that offers a comprehensive leadership development program for its employees but wants to ensure that participation in this program is based on merit and specific criteria. Manual enrollment allows them to achieve this effectively

In this use case, manual enrollment in the LMS allows the organization to curate a high-quality leadership development program that aligns with its strategic objectives and selects participants based on merit and specific criteria. It ensures that the program remains competitive, personalized, and effective in nurturing future leaders within the company.

ENROLLMENT METHODS (MANUAL ENROLLMENTS)

Step 1: In the relevant course, click on "Enrollment methods" and make sure that the "Manual enrollments" method is enabled. 



Note: When you create a new course, the "Manual enrollments" method is enabled by default. 

Step 2: Click on the "add users" icon (  ) next to "Manual enrollments."



Step 3: In the "Not enrolled users" block, search for and select the user/s you wish to enroll into your course and click "Add" to enroll them. 



You can also unenroll users from your course, by selecting from the "Enrolled users" block and clicking "Remove." 

These users will now be enrolled into your course and will be displayed on the "Enrolled users" page.



ENROLLED USERS PAGE (ENROLL USERS)

Step 1: In the relevant course, on the "Enrolled users" page, click on "Enroll users."



Step 2: Here you can (1) search for and select the user/s or entire user segment/s you wish to enroll into your course. You can also (2) assign a role to these users and (3) define an enrollment start date and duration. 



Once you're happy, click on "Enroll selected users and user segments" to enroll the selected users.
