Prevent Emails From Landing In Spam

Prevent Emails From Landing In Spam

OVERVIEW

Emails sent from your Pluto LMS may sometimes end up in end-users' spam boxes. This document makes a few suggestions to prevent this from happening.

Use Case Example:

Imagine you are a training manager in a corporate setting, responsible for delivering important training materials and updates to your employees through email. You have been using Pluto LMS to streamline your training processes and communicate with your staff effectively. However, you've noticed that some of the emails sent from Pluto LMS end up in your employees' spam folders, resulting in missed communications and important information going unnoticed.

By implementing these suggestions and actively working to prevent emails from being marked as spam, you can enhance the effectiveness of your training communication, ensuring that important information reaches your employees' inboxes and improving overall engagement and participation in the training programs facilitated by Pluto LMS.
Even the likes of MailChimp have a very low open rate on emails (usually around 20%).

For example, if you send out 1000 emails, you can reasonably expect 200 of them to be opened.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

1) Ensure that your no-reply email is updated for outgoing emails.
Note: If you want to receive and read the replies to these emails, then you should use a real email address.

2)  Emails landing in a spam folder is primarily governed by the email service being used by the end-user. If possible, it's therefore best to ask your end-users to whitelist your domain on their email software so that the email software does not send email to spam.
