OVERVIEW
Webcam Proctoring allows you to capture the learner's picture via webcam to identify who is attempting a quiz. It will capture the picture automatically every 30 seconds and store it as a PNG image.

This feature captures the learner's picture at regular intervals, creating a visual record of their progress.
Webcam Proctoring, training managers can have greater confidence in the authenticity and reliability of quiz results, enhancing the overall training and certification process.
CREATE QUIZ
Before you can set up webcam proctoring, you will first need to create a quiz.
SET UP WEBCAM PROCTORING
In your quiz settings, under "Extra restrictions on attempts", enable Webcam identity validation by selecting "...must be acknowledged before starting an attempt."
LEARNER VIEW
Once you have set up your quiz and enabled webcam proctoring, your learners will be prompted to turn their webcam on before attempting the quiz.
After clicking on "Attempt quiz now", they will also be prompted to agree to the validation process before starting their attempt.
While attempting the quiz, the learner will be able to see themselves and the webcam will automatically capture timely images.
TEACHER VIEW
As the course editor, you will be able to view the proctoring reports for that quiz.
This is where you can cross validate your learners by their profile images to ensure that they did not use somebody else to answer their questions for them.
