Update Grade Action

OVERVIEW

The "Update Grade" action updates a user's grade for a specified assignment within a specified course in your Pluto LMS based on information provided in the trigger.

SETTING UP AN "UPDATE GRADE" ACTION

Step 1: Set up your trigger, e.g. "New Row in Microsoft Excel."



Note: The trigger may need to provide the Course and Assignment IDs of the assignment for which your zap must update the grades of the users in your Pluto LMS as well as the User IDs of those users. If your trigger does not provide this information, you may need to add and additional action step before the "Update Grade" action, e.g. "Search User" in your Pluto LMS.

Step 2: Select (1) Pluto LMS as your action app and (2) "Update Grade" as your action event, then (3) choose your connected Pluto LMS account from the drop-down list. 




Step 3: To set up your action, select or manually enter the (1) Course ID and the (2) Assignment ID of the assignment for which your zap must update the grades of users in your Pluto LMS. Then select the corresponding fields from your trigger data source that will provide (1) the User IDs of the users whose grades must be updated and (4) their updated grades. 

Note: For a more dynamic zap (that can update the grades of users for a variety of assignments in various courses) you can select the corresponding fields from your trigger data source that will provide the Course IDs and Assignment IDs of the assignments for which user grades must be updated in your Pluto LMS. 



You can now scroll down and click on "Continue" to proceed to test your action and switch on your zap or add additional action steps.
