Upload Documents on behalf of Users (Assignment Activity)

OVERVIEW

This guide will show you how to upload documents on behalf of users within the LMS. This is only applicable and possible in the "Assignment" Activity and not on other areas of the LMS.
USE CASE EXAMPLE:

This would be used in a case where Site Admins or Course Instructors want to upload POE's of students onto the Course. These type of documents can include ID's, Certificates, and more.

HOW TO UPLOAD A FILE ON BEHALF OF A STUDENT

You can upload files on behalf of users (Using the assignment activity) by following these steps:

> Create the necessary Assignment activity within your course (Make sure that there aren't any date restrictions or certain open or due dates for the Assignment)
> Navigate to that course and the activity (Users should already be enrolled)

> Then click on "View all submissions"

> Once you've selected this option it will open the list of users enrolled into the course along with their submissions and grades (If any).

> Next, you will click on the "Edit" option under the Edit column next to the applicable users' name and choose "Edit submission."

> This will open the assignment submission page where you can either upload or drag and drop the necessary files.

This guide enables you to upload files on behalf of users.

NOTE: Only Site Admins have the ability to be able to do this.
Please email us on support@plutolms.com if you do not have the ability to do this.
