Download Assignments for Offline Evaluation (For Graders)
OVERVIEW
Downloading assignments for offline viewing in Pluto LMS allows instructors to access and review student submissions without requiring an internet connection.
USE CASE EXAMPLE:
Let's say you are an instructor using Pluto LMS, and you have an assignment that requires students to submit a research paper.
Let's say you are an instructor using Pluto LMS, and you have an assignment that requires students to submit a research paper.
You can download the submissions from the LMS, evaluate them offline, and later grade and provide feedback on the LMS. This approach allows for flexibility and convenience in the grading process.
HOW IT'S DONE
Ensure that Graders are enrolled into the course otherwise you will not be able to assign them the grader role and they will not have the ability to grade the assignments
> Go to the applicable course,
> Navigate to the Assignment activity that needs grading,
> Scroll down to "View all submissions" after accessing the assignment,
> You can then select which students assignments you want to download by "ticking" the box next to their name (1) and then selecting "Download selected submissions" (2). This will download each students assignment in its own ZIP folder. From here you can view the assignment and evaluate it offline.
After manually evaluating the assignments the grader can grade the assignments and provide feedback on the LMS.
You simply follow these steps,
> Go to the applicable course,
> Navigate to the assignment,
> Either select "View all submissions" or "Grade",
> They can then select the assignment they want to grade and grade it online.
