OVERVIEW
The quiz activity allows you to create knowledge tests by adding one/more of a variety of question types (multiple choice, true/false, matching, etc.) All quiz questions are stored in a question bank and can be reused in different quizzes within the same course.
USE CASE EXAMPLE:
Assessment Quiz for Compliance Training
Scenario: Your company is using Pluto LMS to conduct compliance training for its employees. One of the training modules is about workplace safety regulations. The training team creates a quiz to assess employees' understanding of the safety guidelines and procedures.
ADD A QUIZ ACTIVITY
Step 1: In the relevant course, click on "Edit course material."
Step 2: Under the relevant module, click on "Add course content."
Step 3: Click on the "Quiz" activity.
Step 4: Give your quiz (1) a name and (2) optionally define the settings of your quiz activity (you can always edit these later).
Once you're happy, you can scroll down and click on "Save and display" to see your quiz.
ADD QUESTIONS TO YOUR QUIZ
Step 1: After you have added a quiz activity to your course, navigate to that quiz and click on "Edit quiz."
Step 2: Click on "Add" to start adding questions to your quiz.
You can add:
- "a new question" to create a new question;
- "from question bank" to reuse a previously created question from the course question bank;
- "a random question" to define a set of questions from the question bank from which the system will choose a random question whenever a learner attempts your quiz.
